Wallbox delivers a secure EV charging experience

At Wallbox we have the security and safety of our customers at the center of our product development and have an entire team dedicated to the security of our systems and services. We ensure security is applied all throughout the engineering process, from the initial design until the very end of the manufacturing line. Furthermore, we conduct regular tests in line with industry standards, and hold a number of industry certifications verifying our security processes’ including CREST-certified security testing, the ISO 27001 and CyberEssentials certifications.

Because cybersecurity is an area that is always evolving, we are constantly improving the security of our charging solutions to enable our customers to use them with confidence. These updates are regularly deployed to our servers. No further action is needed from any of our users, our software is already up to date and protected.

At Wallbox we use certified industrial grade equipment in all our chargers. We currently use a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3 for our consumer chargers. Raspberry Pi’s industrial grade hardware is the foundation of a multitude of consumer electronic devices and commonly used in home products such as televisions and EV chargers.
