Wallbox named a Preferred Supplier of Strombox

BARCELONA, SPAIN and VIENNA, AUSTRIA (November X, 2021) – Wallbox N.V. (NYSE:WBX), a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging and energy management solutions worldwide,  and Strombox, E-Mobilitäts GmbH, XXX today announced a national partnership to rollout Wallbox charging solutions across Austria. 

The new partnership is part of Strombox’s broader business commitment to the European Union’s green deal which aims to progress electromobility to help reduce CO2. Offering home and business charging solutions, the partnership with Wallbox will broaden Strombox’s scope and support the country's transition to more sustainable electromobility.  

The partnership comes soon after Wallbox’s European launch of its home energy management software, Eco-Smart. This software update enables Wallbox customers to charge their EVs with renewable energy from solar panels at their home, directly through the myWallbox app.

The partnership will begin with Wallbox’s best selling charger worldwide, Pulsar Plus, one of the smallest home chargers on the Austrian market and Commander 2, Wallbox’s business charger designed to simplify electric charging for businesses.  Both chargers are compatible with all EVs, including Teslas, using the Tesla-provided J1772 adapter.
