Go support pageIs Supernova compatible with any EV?
Yes, all electric vehicles with a fast-charging outlet (CCS or NACS) are compatible. If your EV's maximum charging capacity is lower than what Supernova offers, it will simply charge at the fastest rate your car can accommodate.
How can I locate a Supernova charging point?
You can find Public Supernova 180 Chargers using an app like PlugShare or any other map service that lists charging points.
How many power modules does Supernova have?
Supernova is composed of 6 modules that work together to provide maximum power while maintaining their operational independence. Its modular design allows parallel power conversion to ensure the charger continues running even in the unlikely event that a module fails.
Does Wallbox offer branding solutions for Supernova?
Yes, we offer customizable vinyl service to improve the customer brand perception with a huge branding surface (25 ft) helping to distinguish from other fast chargers and attracting drivers.
What’s new for Supernova 180 UL in 2025?
In 2025, Supernova 180 UL achieves several major milestones. It is now fully compliant with the 2025 DC Meter Law, featuring certified metering windows — one per outlet — placed just below the touchscreen for clear visibility to drivers.
Designed to meet both CTEP (California Type Evaluation Program) and NTEP (National Type Evaluation Program) requirements, this compliance also anticipates the upcoming Canadian regulations on metering accuracy and billing transparency. This positions Wallbox for accelerated growth in the Canadian market.
Additionally, by the end of 2025, Supernova 180 UL will be available with the NACS connector, now widely adopted among EVs in Canada.
