Our journey towards
sustainability
We are committed to reducing our impact on the climate. Through our technology, we empower people to create, use and share renewable energy in ways they never imagined. Sustainability is at the heart of our business and we strive to enable the electrification of mobility to reduce our fossil fuel dependency and accelerate the use of renewable energies.
OUR COMMITMENT
Achieve company-wide Net Zero greenhouse gas
(GHG) emissions across our global footprint by 2030.
For Wallbox to become Net Zero means that the amount of GHG emissions
we put into the atmosphere is the same as the amount we take out.
“Sustainability is a driving force behind everything we do at Wallbox, and climate change
is a global issue. As a global company, we feel propelled to lead by example,”
Enric Asunción, CEO, and co-founder of Wallbox.

Our actions so far
We have already made significant improvements in a number of areas to significantly reduce our environmental impact.
Implemented Sirius, an intelligent energy management system at our Barcelona HQ.
Sirius optimizes the combination of energy generated by our solar panels, the grid, and the batteries of our vehicle fleet. As a result of its implementation, we have increased our use of renewable energy by 20% and decreased the reliability of our grid by 50%.
We installed 128 solar panels on the roof of our HQ and will install 2,500 more for our new manufacturing plant and parking lot.
Solar energy is climate-friendly, as it does not emit greenhouse emissions. With this action, we have been able to reduce 18% of the CO2 emissions from our headquarters. Our main manufacturing facility expects to reduce 7,500 tonnes of CO2 over the next 25 years thanks to our solar panels alone.
