Is my EV compatible with Quasar 2?

Quasar 2 can charge all CCS2 vehicles. However, bidirectional functionalities are only permitted with certain EV manufacturers, and more expected to enable bidirectionality with Quasar 2 in the near future.

Can I manage charging sessions with the Wallbox app?

Absolutely! You have the freedom to establish, remove, and edit scheduled charging sessions for your Wallbox charger via our app, regardless of your location. Whether you're near the charger and using Bluetooth or accessing it remotely via Wi-Fi, you're covered. With the Wallbox app, you gain the ability to oversee your charger's status and plan your charging during periods of low energy costs. Ready to begin? How much I can save with the Vehicle-to-Home feature?

Save up to 1000€ annually with Quasar 2 by charging your vehicle during off-peak hours and then using that energy to power your home during peak hours. By lowering your grid dependency, you can lower your energy costs.

Can I charge my EV using solar energy?

That's correct! Our solar charging software lets you charge your EV with 100% solar energy or a mix of solar and grid energy. To enable solar charging, you must combine it with one of our power meters. Once installed, you just need to set your preferred mode right from the app Wallbox and let your charger do the rest.

Does Quasar 2 degrade my battery?

No. In fact, using Quasar 2 is potentially less harmful than driving since it provides a consistent flow of power, unlike the frequent and high-power demand of braking and accelerating. We collaborate with automakers to allow them to test our products according to their battery lifetime requirements.
