Wallbox appoints Myriam Lhermurier Boublil as Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer & Javier Riaño as Chief Marketing Officer.

Wallbox N.V. (NYSE: WBX), one of the global leaders in electric vehicle (EV) chargers and energy management systems, today announced two strategic additions to its management team: Myriam Lhermurier Boublil as Chief Communications & Public Affairs Office and Javier Riaño as Chief Marketing officer.

 

Wallbox strengthens its corporate structure with the addition of a communications and public affairs department, which will be led by Myriam Lhermurier Boublil. As Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer, Myriam will lead a growing team in Spain and the United States and enhance the company's international communications. The aim is to further drive the adoption of electric vehicles, change the current approach to energy management and promote Wallbox's role as a leader in the transition.


In addition, Javier Riaño has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer to fully exploit Wallbox's commercial growth potential. Javier will report to Masud Rabbani, Chief Business Officer of Wallbox, and will lead the company's corporate marketing, branding and e-commerce strategy on an international scale. Its activities will be aimed at building an even stronger brand. Wallbox is now active in 113 countries and is one of the market leaders in the company's main markets, including Europe and the United States.

Myriam Lhermurier Boublil has more than 25 years of experience in communications and public affairs. Myriam was formerly with Google, where she was responsible for teams in Europe, the Middle East and Asia in various leadership roles. In addition, she led PayPal's communications department for three years and moved to Barcelona in 2021 to join Domestika as Senior Vice President Global Communications. Myriam graduated in International Business and holds a Masters in Communication from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She speaks French, English, Spanish and Hebrew.

Javier Riaño has more than 24 years of experience in marketing management positions, primarily in the consumer goods sector. In his previous role, Riaño was Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Spain, and Director of Procter & Gamble's Beauty and Care Products in Southern Europe. Previously, Javier Riaño served in various marketing, brand communications and e-commerce roles at Procter & Gamble on an international level, in cities such as Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Rome and Geneva. Riaño graduated in Business Administration and Economics from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and in Law from the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED). Javier speaks Spanish, French, English and Italian.
