Wallbox Named AGEFE’s Electric Mobility Supplier of the Year 2024

We’re proud to share that Wallbox has been honored by AGEFE (Portuguese Association of Electric Materials) as the 2024 Supplier of the Year in the Electric Mobility category – a new distinction introduced in this year’s awards. 

The recognition was announced during the Encontro AGEFE de Material Elétrico 2025, held in Ílhavo on May 8–9, which brought together over 160 professionals from 65 leading companies in the sector.

We’re proud to stand alongside renowned companies like Legrand, Finder, Hager, and Ledvance as winners in their respective categories. Receiving this award from AGEFE’s Wholesale Distributors Section is not only an endorsement of the quality of our products, but also a testament to the trust we’ve built with our partners, and the value we bring to the industry.

A Growing Market for Clean Mobility

Portugal is experiencing significant growth in EV adoption. According to ACAP (Portuguese Automobile Association), in 2024, fully electric vehicles (BEVs) accounted for 19.9% of new passenger car registrations, surpassing diesel vehicles in market share for the first time. And the growth isn’t slowing down – between January and April 2025, BEV registrations surged by +40.5% year-on-year, with over 25,000 units sold, according to UVE. 

This trend underscores the growing confidence of Portuguese consumers in electric mobility and highlights the increasing demand for reliable charging infrastructure to support the expanding EV market.

Developed in close collaboration with our installer and distributor partners in Portugal, this solution offers more flexibility, easier maintenance, and robust connectivity – especially for residential buildings, fleets, and light-commercial installations.

The Pulsar Pro Socket delivers just that. With its Type 2 socket configuration, it offers greater versatility and simplified upkeep. The addition of Ethernet connectivity ensures stable performance in environments where Wi-Fi is limited or unreliable; a must-have for shared spaces and complex installations.

And it doesn’t stop there: this version also includes RFID, 4G support, and compatibility with Dynamic Power Management (DPM), all managed through the Wallbox App and Portal. Built for professionals, the new Pulsar Pro is the smart, scalable choice for today’s rapidly electrifying world.
